How to Book a Tour

Booking with Nile Cruise Holiday is easy and secure. Prices mentioned on our website are quoted per person. Once you select your desired tour, contact our reservation department via email or phone to discuss your inquiries and customize the trip to your preferences.

A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking. This can be paid through a secure payment link via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or Western Union. Once the deposit is received, you will get a confirmation email along with essential travel details, such as hotel names, Nile cruise information, domestic flight tickets, and your tour itinerary.

The remaining balance can be paid upon your arrival in Egypt, either in cash or by card (a 3% transaction fee applies to card payments).

Credit & Debit Cards

You can conveniently pay for your tour using a credit or debit card. Please note that while deposits are exempt from additional fees, a 3% bank fee will apply to card payments for the remaining balance upon arrival. Any additional costs not included in your tour package, such as international airfare, travel insurance, tipping, optional excursions, porter services, or personal expenses, can be settled independently. Most tourist-friendly establishments in Egypt, including shops, cafés, and restaurants, accept credit and debit cards. For this reason, carrying large amounts of cash is unnecessary, as ATMs are widely available throughout the country for easy withdrawals.

Passports & Visas

A valid passport (with at least six months of validity beyond your travel dates) is required to enter Egypt. Visa requirements vary:
Many nationalities can obtain a visa upon arrival for $25 (cash).
Others may need to apply for an e-Visa online or secure a visa in advance through an Egyptian embassy.

Health Recommendations

While Egypt has no strict vaccination requirements, we recommend consulting a healthcare provider. Vaccines such as Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, and Influenza are commonly suggested for travelers. Tour Prices

Tour prices are quoted per person in USD and reflect guided estimates based on availability and seasonality. For accurate pricing, please provide the number of travelers, travel dates, and tour preferences.

Prices are final upon booking confirmation, with no hidden charges or taxes for services included in your itinerary.

Booking & Payments

To book a tour with Nile Cruise Holiday, guests must read and accept all terms and policies before the booking process begins. A deposit of 25% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. 

This deposit secures all necessary arrangements for your tour, including accommodations, Nile cruises, and domestic flights. To complete your booking successfully, the following details are required: 

  • Full names (as stated in passports).
  • Dates of birth. 
  • Nationalities.
  • Passport numbers. 
  • Arrival and departure flight details, including flight numbers, dates, times, and airlines.  

Upon receiving your deposit, a payment receipt will be issued, and we will begin finalizing your itinerary. You will receive a detailed itinerary that includes accommodation details, Nile cruise information, and domestic flight schedules. Please carefully review all provided information to ensure accuracy. If errors are identified in the details provided, it is the guest’s responsibility to correct them and cover any associated costs. Reviewing the itinerary and flight details thoroughly before confirmation will help avoid potential complications. 

The remaining balance is payable upon your arrival in Egypt. Payment can be made in cash or by credit/debit card (a 3% bank fee applies to card payments). Payment options include secure credit card transactions, bank transfers, or Western Union.

Our Price Policy

The prices listed on our website are quoted per person in USD and serve as guided estimates. Pricing is influenced by various factors, including seasonal demand, travel dates, and the number of travelers. We highly recommend booking early to secure the best rates and availability.

Special promotions, such as "Black Friday" deals, are valid only during the specified period and cannot be compared to pricing in other seasons. Solo travelers should be aware that prices for individual bookings may differ from shared occupancy rates listed on our website.

Upgrades to specific accommodations, such as Nile or pyramid-view rooms or luxury suites, are available upon request and subject to availability. All prices are inclusive of taxes, ensuring transparency and no hidden charges. Your detailed itinerary will clearly outline what is included and excluded in the tour cost.

Cancellation Policy

If you or anyone in your group needs to cancel a confirmed booking, a formal request must be sent to us via email, clearly outlining the details of the cancellation. Please note that if one or more members of your party cancel, the total price for the remaining travelers may increase. Our pricing is based on the original number of participants, and a reduction in group size will affect the cost per person.

If the booking process has already commenced and payments have been made for group arrangements, cancellation fees will apply. These charges may be deducted from the deposit paid or billed separately to the canceling members. Alternatively, the remaining balance for cancellations can be settled with the total payment upon arrival.

Change the Passenger’s name.

It is essential that the name provided during booking matches the name on your passport and international ticket. Any discrepancies may result in your inability to proceed with the tour and could render your travel insurance invalid. If you need to change your name, for instance, due to marriage, please inform us promptly so we can update your details before your arrival.

Please note that modifications may incur additional costs, especially for domestic flight tickets, as changes after issuance can be challenging to process. Some travelers mistakenly provide nicknames or informal names during booking; however, this will not be accepted at domestic airports, and tickets with mismatched names will be invalid. To avoid such issues, always ensure that the name you supply matches your passport exactly.

Early Check-In or Late Check-Out

Hotels and Nile cruises in Egypt follow standard check-in times of 2:00 PM and check-out times of 12:00 PM. Should your travel plans require adjustments, such as early check-in or late check-out, these options can be arranged based on availability and may incur additional charges.

If your schedule involves early arrivals or late departures, we can help you add extra activities or book additional nights to ensure a comfortable experience.

Modifying Your Itinerary After Final Confirmation

Once you confirm your booking with us, we immediately begin organizing your arrangements to ensure everything is flawlessly prepared, particularly during peak seasons. Should you wish to modify your itinerary, such as adding or removing tours, after the final confirmation, any significant changes that impact existing arrangements may incur cancellation fees. This applies if the requested change results in the cancellation or alteration of services already booked.

For minor modifications that do not affect existing bookings, we are happy to assist without applying cancellation fees; however, there may be additional costs for certain adjustments.

Below are examples of changes that could affect your tour cost or invoke our cancellation policy:

  • Reducing the duration of your stay by removing one or more nights.
  • Altering the dates or times of your arrival and departure, which may require rescheduling your itinerary.
  • Postponing your trip after bookings have been finalized.
  • Canceling a traveler’s participation, which could impact group pricing.
  • Adding or removing optional tours.

Our itineraries are designed to be flexible and adaptable to your needs. We strongly recommend sharing any special requests or changes prior to confirming your final itinerary to ensure all adjustments can be made smoothly and efficiently.

Pricing Policy

At Nile Cruise Holiday, we are committed to offering clear and competitive pricing for all our travel packages. However, we reserve the right to revise the rates for any tours that have not yet been booked. Price changes may occur due to:

  • Transportation Costs: Increases in fuel prices or energy costs that affect domestic flights or other transportation options.
  • Taxes and Fees: Adjustments in government-imposed taxes or service charges related to the tours we provide.
  • Currency Fluctuations: Variations in exchange rates that impact the overall cost of your package.

Once your booking is finalized, the price you’ve agreed upon will remain fixed, and any additional charges from the factors mentioned above will be handled by us. However, if your booking is not yet confirmed, the prices listed may still change and cannot be guaranteed.

  • Meals: Delicious meals as detailed in your travel plan.
  • Services, Taxes, and Charges: All applicable fees and service charges are covered.
  • Expert Tour Guide: An experienced Egyptologist will accompany you, providing insightful commentary throughout your journey.
  • Airport Transfers: Personalized pickup and drop-off services at Cairo International Airport or any other agreed location.

Exclusions

The following items are not included in our tour packages:

  • International Flights: Airfare to and from Egypt is not covered.
  • Visa and Passport Fees: Guests are responsible for arranging and covering the costs of their visas and passports.
  • Travel Insurance: It is recommended to secure travel insurance independently.
  • Optional Tours: Activities not explicitly listed in your itinerary are not part of the package.
  • Tipping and Personal Expenses: Gratuities, personal purchases, and other incidental costs are not included.

Delay, Missed Transport Arrangements, and Denied Boarding

If a flight we booked for you is delayed or canceled by the airline, please contact us immediately so we can liaise with the airline to find the best solution. Delays or cancellations can happen due to various reasons, such as weather conditions, which are beyond our control. In such cases, we will assess the situation and inform you of the next steps.

If the delay or issue is caused by our error, such as incorrect ticket details or late airport drop-off, we will take full responsibility and arrange suitable compensation or refunds. It’s essential to consult us before taking any independent action to ensure a timely resolution.

Our Liability to You

When you entrust us with planning your trip to Egypt, we commit to handling every aspect of your bookings and travel arrangements with precision and care. A dedicated tour operator will work closely with you to address your questions and tailor your itinerary to suit your preferences. Once your plans are finalized and confirmed, our booking team will take over, ensuring all reservations are completed and providing you with comprehensive details about your accommodations, activities, and transport.

If You Have a Complaint

They will make every effort to address the matter efficiently. Should the situation remain unresolved, you can contact our office directly, keeping in mind that responses may be delayed due to time zone differences.

It is essential to report any problems during your trip to give us the opportunity to address them in real-time. Delaying a complaint until after your return may limit our ability to provide a resolution. Please note that Egyptian privacy laws prevent us from commenting on organizations outside our booking network. However, your feedback is invaluable and helps us avoid partnering with any service providers that do not meet our high standards of excellence.

Luggage Allowance for Domestic Flights

For domestic flights in Egypt, passengers are permitted to carry one piece of hand luggage weighing up to 7 kg and one checked suitcase with a maximum weight of 23 kg. These weight limits align with the standard policies of most airlines operating within Egypt. If your luggage exceeds these allowances, additional charges will apply for the excess weight. These fees will be calculated and payable directly at the airport at the time of check-in.

Flight Information

We believe it is your right to have complete clarity about your domestic flight arrangements. Once we finalize your travel plans, we will provide you with full details, including the airline, flight timings, and destinations. Should there be any discrepancies between the scheduled flights and the agreed itinerary, we will inform you of the available alternatives and seek your approval before making any changes to ensure your trip is exactly as planned.

The domestic airlines we collaborate with include Egypt Air, Air Cairo, Fly Egypt, and Nile Air, many of which are part of the Star Alliance network. These airlines are equipped to find suitable alternative flights in case of cancellations or schedule disruptions.

Please note that all flights follow a strict no-smoking policy. Additionally, certain airlines may charge extra fees for transporting specific items such as sports equipment, sailboards, golf clubs, bicycles, or musical instruments. If you plan to bring any such items, kindly notify us in advance. This will allow us to make the necessary arrangements and provide you with all relevant details ahead of your journey.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend securing comprehensive travel insurance from your home country before embarking on your journey to Egypt or any international destination. A reliable travel insurance policy should provide coverage for cancellation fees, lost or missed items, and other unforeseen incidents. However, it is essential to review your insurance provider’s policy carefully to understand what is included and excluded from coverage.

Please note that traveling to Egypt without adequate insurance coverage places all associated risks solely on you, and we cannot be held responsible for any losses or liabilities you may incur. Ensuring you are fully covered helps safeguard your travel investment and provides peace of mind during your adventure.

Holidays for Children

Children have the right to enjoy just like adults, and that is why our tour guides are qualified to deal with travelers of all ages. The most interesting thing about Egypt is that the majority of tourist sites in Egypt are perfectly suitable for all age,s and your children will enjoy the most when having their tours with us. Here is our Children's Policy:

  • From 0 to 01.99: Free of any Charges for the whole tour
  • From 0 to 05.99: Free of Charges {For the Tours that don't require Domestic Flight Tickets}
  • From 2 to 5.99: 25% of the Tour Price will be required {For the Tours which require Domestic Flight Tickets }
  • From 6 to 11.9: 50% of the Tour Price is required
  • 12+: Have to pay the full Tour Price as per adult.

Cutting Your Holiday Short

If you decide to end your trip earlier than planned for personal reasons, we regret to inform you that we cannot issue refunds for the unused portions of your tour. This is because all arrangements are made and paid for in advance to ensure your itinerary runs smoothly and your bookings are secure.

Depending on the terms of your travel insurance, you may be eligible for a refund for services you did not utilize. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider immediately when making the decision to cut your trip short. Be sure to follow their instructions and obtain the required local documentation, such as receipts, to support your claim.

Guest Behavior

Visitors to Egypt are expected to respect the laws, customs, and traditions of the country, as well as the rights and enjoyment of other travelers. Any behavior that causes distress, danger, property damage, or annoyance to others will result in the immediate termination of your booking arrangement. In such cases, refunds for bookings or accommodations will not be provided, and any resulting expenses will be your responsibility.

If your actions result in damage to property, you will be required to compensate the owner directly. This may include payments to hotel management or other affected parties. Refusal to cover these damages will leave you liable for any claims made against you.

Our agency cannot take responsibility for the actions of guests or individuals outside of our booking arrangements. To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, we kindly ask all travelers to act responsibly and avoid behavior that disrupts the enjoyment or property of others.

Special Requests

If you have specific requests, such as visiting a particular location, trying a specific dish, addressing dietary restrictions, or opting for a private tour, it is important to share these details with us at the time of booking. Whether it’s your preferred room location, special accommodations for food sensitivities, or tour customizations, we will communicate your reasonable requests to the appropriate suppliers and work to fulfill them wherever possible.

Please note that the feasibility of meeting such requests often depends on the availability and policies of the relevant service providers. If a request could negatively impact your travel experience, we will inform you and offer alternatives to ensure your holiday remains enjoyable.

Deposits

A deposit is required to secure your booking. Depending on the type of tour, the deposit amount varies:

  • Overland Tours Without Domestic Flights: No deposit may be required.
  • Tour Packages Without International Flights: A deposit of 25% of the total cost.
  • Tour Packages With International Flights: A deposit of 50% of the total cost.
  • Peak Season Bookings: A deposit of 50% of the total cost.

Deposits enable us to begin your booking process promptly. If you cancel your booking, applicable cancellation fees will be deducted. For more details, refer to our Payment & Cancellation Policy.

Hotel Vouchers

Some travelers request hotel vouchers as proof of confirmed bookings. While only a few Egyptian hotels issue such vouchers, rest assured that the final list of your confirmed accommodations, provided by us, is sufficient to confirm your reservations. If a voucher is required for visa purposes, we will issue a visa support letter and the necessary documentation.

Locally Booked Excursions & Activities

Egypt offers a variety of on-the-spot activities, which you can book independently or through us in advance. These include:

  • Camel rides at Giza.
  • SUV sunset rides.
  • Entry into the Pyramids of Giza.
  • Hot air balloon rides.
  • Visits to the Nubian Village.
  • Select tombs in the Valley of the Kings.

Please note that if you choose to book any optional tours independently during your time in Egypt, our agency will not be responsible for organizing or managing these arrangements. As such, we cannot be held accountable for any issues related to the quality, duration, cost, or other aspects of such tours, as they are not part of our official offerings. However, rest assured that our tour guide will remain available to assist you throughout your journey whenever needed.

Images & Marketing

By participating in our tours, you consent to being photographed or videoed for promotional purposes. These materials may appear in marketing campaigns, but we ensure no photos are taken without your consent. Your comfort and privacy are our priorities.
